It was such a privilege to photograph Amanda's 60th birthday celebration, surrounded by the people who matter most. While the occasion marked Amanda's special milestone, the heart of the day was her mother. Despite living with dementia, she remained the centre of the family, bringing together her children, grandchildren, and generations of love under the sky.
Watching everyone gather around her was a beautiful reminder that family is not measured by perfect memories, but by connection, care, and simply being together. The laughter, the hugs, the stories, and the quiet moments shared between generations made this celebration truly unforgettable.
Because at the end of the day, the greatest thing we can celebrate in life isn't a number, it's having the people we love by our side.

There’s something deeply moving about photographing a family with older children.. a connection shaped over years, full of quiet understanding, shared history, and a kind of love that doesn’t need to be explained.
This photo walk was one of those experiences that stays with you long after it ends. Nothing felt staged or forced. Just real moments unfolding naturally.. laughter that comes from knowing each other so well, gentle teasing, warm glances, and that unspoken bond that only grows stronger with time.
It’s in those in-between moments where the magic truly lives. The way they walk together, the ease between them, the joy that feels both calm and full all at once. Being able to witness and capture that is something I don’t take lightly.
And truly, the hardest part for me? Choosing just 40 images. When every single frame holds meaning, narrowing it down feels almost impossible.
This is what a family photo walk should feel like. Not posed perfection, but honest connection. The kind that brings everything rushing back when you look at these images years from now.
Because in the end, it’s not just about photos. It’s about holding on to the feeling of being together.

There’s something brave about letting yourself be photographed as you are.
